Dec 26th: Israel announced full invasaion against Gaza Strip setting the following goals:
- Preventing Palestinans in Gaza strip from Lunching rockets against South of Israel.
- Stop Smuggling activitis through Rafah crossing between the strip and Egypt.
- Paralyzing Hamas and recoving PLO authority if possible.
Jan 18th: over 1300 death, 5000 injured in Gaza strip, Israel announces unilateral (unilatéral) cease-fire declaring victory despite the fact that its troops still struggling to keep their advanced positions inside the strip.
Jan 18th: Hamas and Palestinan resistence continued boming south of Israel with 16 rockets
Jan 19th: Hamas declares one week truce and give Israel ultimatame to witherdrwan its forces.
Jan 19th: Israel starts fast witherdrwan of its forces from the strip.
I believe we all know that Israel wasn't particulary honest about its loss in soldires and equpiments during its ground invasaion in Gaza, so we have to wait for another Winograd to tell us the size of the loss but for the moment let's get enough with the information we have.
Ladies and Gentelemen, the importance of this war that Hamas and every citizen in Gaza holded up against the most powerfull army in the region for 22 days, and I mean by hold up that Hamas despite that Nazi Holocauste against its population kept fighting and lunching rockets till the last minute of the war, and the civilian population in Gaza understood the fact that such war isn't against Hamas its against them so we didn't find anyone and I mean not one who complained or blamed or even coperated with Israel against Hamas.
Of course I am not underestimating the size of the lost Gaza is suffering now, but I believe that Israel had fught very hard using every possible killing machine (except for nuclear bomps) and failied to achieve any of its goals.
What's the impact of this lose will be my next blog so stay tuned

Wake up and look aroud, Israel won fair and squear...
But you and all the arabs love to fake the picture.
Be in the middle and don't take sides, Israel was fighting terrorism and will always do as a democratic country like you all arabs.
I agree with you Leo, Israel didn't acheieve its goals, but yet they did mass destruction and send Gaza back 2000 years

In our case it was massacar and nothing will change this fact.

But having what Israel destruct built, will take long time and huge efforts.
They did send gaza 2000 years backward
