Moral decision

Well, As start I am not much of moral man, if the person against me is moral person I would be much of saint with him, but if not then devilish is my only option.

But since few days I am facing kind of hard decision to make, and I don't know if this decision is moral or not.

The story goes like this:
I have very critical work, we always consider secrecy in every action and move we do, security is big part of our day procedure... One of my staff for reasons "I might understand" had commited Security breach.

Its not dangerouse but it could've been.

The thing is if I wasn't in my position I might've done the same, and since I am in position I would directly trnasfer her out and put her into invistigation commity but she came to me after she did it and came clean about it, which made my decision much harder...

First action I have done was correcting the situation and now I am lost, I don't know what deicison would be fair for her!!!

Don't get me wrong guys, she's very sweet person, and she came clean right away which made correcting the decision is much easier and faster, not to mention she has been working hard under our secrecy auth for quite long time now...

My options are:
1- Should I fire her
2- Should I transfer her (keeping in mind that she will looses much of her grade advantages financelly)
3- Ignore the mistake since it was corrected and move on.

What do you all think?

Leo; I believe she deserves another chance, transfer her to another department and move on.

Don't take sides but she muchy be punished, she knew her mistake but that isn't enough.

I don't know, I think Lili is right.

Since she saved the situation by telling you, then you must forgive her but don't let it go unpuneshed.

Let it go Leo, she was honest and she admitted it.

If you discovered it by your self I would've asked you to fire her...
