Today was a little of ugly day for me, I woke up of course as usual (and I mean not as yesterday, 05am)
Went to my office, checking everything before I got back home tonight (yes I am coming back home tonight... Happy Lah?!!!).
Well... Not that much, but it seems I have no choice, If i want to have what's left of my life back, it has to be somewhere not here...
Anyway, When I arrived my office and checked my email I found weired email from my HQ (Head Quarter) under the subject of Warning Note.
To make a long story short, I found that some reports back home have been issued after I left against me, and what was shocking (in fact I can't claim shocking) coz somehow I felt some kind of retaliation from my ex-assistant after I transferred her to another department as a result of stupid and respectable action she took.
However, I read the warning for like 10 times, and it was about me showing at work drunk and the details were shocking, they have mention dates, times, even details of certain incidents.
Don't get me wrong, in the course of one's work life, office politics would be considered a norm of everyday life, especially in big corporations.
Office politics sometimes requires one to engage in frequent battles amongst subordinates, colleagues, peers and sometimes even bosses too.
I have always believed that in office politics, we have the Chance to loose the battle but we should and in fact must win the war.
In any politics, we must choose our battles wisely, there will be times when putting up a fight would be good choice where others choose to be quiet, and some other times choosing to shut up would be very wise and smart choice indeed especially when every one's rushing to put their two sin's worth across...
So to whom who betrayed me while I am not there to defend myself, I am saying thank you very much.
