Man's EGO

A man's ego is something really important to him. No matter how "bad mood" he is on a particular day, but if you manage to boost that ego of his, then everything will change for the better.

A friend once told me that her husband is a really hot tempered person and normally very grumpy, but everytime she needs him to do something for her at home, all she has to do is "puji puji" him a bit (praise him @ up his ego) and almost instantly the thing will be done.

Yesterday afternoon, I took Father Andy (our friend - a young priest) for lunch. Since he was going back to Rome on Saturday to finish his studies, we decided to take him to Downtown resturant for buffet lunch (By the way, up till today, I still think Downtown has the best Buffet Lunch and Dinner in the whole of Capital).

I'm a regular customer at Downtown Cafe cause both My Doud and I absolutely love the food there. So yesterday as I walked in, I was greeted by the staff there, whom I have become close to. But of course they were a couple of younger waitresses, who were apparently new.

We were seated and was told that the buffet is ready. So Father Andy and I started our lunch, We sat and chatted about life in general, scandals, "women problem", religiouse issues, etc.

Then at 12.30pm, a guy named Diony (who is new around and a friend of Father Andy) arrived and the conversation got thicker. So as Diony got ready to start his 1st round of lunch, I followed behind to get my 2nd round. As I was approaching the waittress there, another young female waitress appeared in front of me so suddenly, and she whispered to me:

"My friend over there "says hi" to you"

"Your friend?" I replied.

At first I was a bit blur as to what she was talking about.

Then she pointed towards a direction of where her friend stood, or so she thought. But the girl was no longer there "Eh, my friend disappeared. She was there just now. She asked me to say hi to you"

Feeling a little red-faced, I said "Oh. Thank you." What I really wanted to say was "You sure it wasn't you?"
Anyway, that's beside the point.

Immediately after that, I automatically switched to a macho-mode (Something all men will do once he kena "puji" @ ego booster).

For the rest of our lunch there, I was so noise up that I looked up on all the customers at the resturant, don't get me wrong but sometimes I feel it a little betrayel abusing such a little girl while I am married and respecting my marrige.

But guys let's face it, my ego was so big that the resturant seemed to be very small at that moment.

Leo, That female waitress is so stupid...

if a woman likes a man she must show him no interist and she will have him as a ring
